WOMEN AT THE CUTTING EDGE – A DEBATE

Saturday 12 March 12.30-2pm, ULU, Malet Street, London

A Debate between Camille Barbagallo (contributor to The Paper) and Camilla Power (anthropologist).

Women have transformed their lives through better job opportunities, while welfare has provided a limited safety net for parents and children. However, 70% of the cuts in jobs and welfare will fall on women.

How will this unprecedented situation transform the struggle against capitalism and the cuts?
