This fixed term, part-time post is designed to allow a postdoctoral student to develop teaching skills and experience, as well as to complete a programme of publications to advance their academic career. This post is open to postdoctoral students whose PhD was submitted or awarded between 1 August 2012 and 1 August 2014

You must be able to teach on core first-year modules and other modules as required, as well as to supervise undergraduate dissertations.

This part-time post (65%FTE) is available from 1 September 2014 to 30 June 2015.

We especially welcome applicants from women, ethnic minorities and other groups currently underrepresented among the academic staff at the University of East Anglia.

The University is a Bronze Athena Swan Award holder, currently working towards Silver

The Program in Literature at Duke University invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow in Marxist theory for the 2012-13 academic year. We welcome candidates with doctorates in all disciplines and who specialize in any aspect of Marxist theory.

Fellows will teach two courses related to their scholarship. Applicants must have completed the PhD by August 2012 and be no more than 5 years past the PhD. The annual stipend is $50,000 plus $5,000 in research funds.

Candidates should submit (electronically) a curriculum vitae, letter of application, a one-page course proposal, a writing sample ( 20 pages maximum), and 3 letters of reference.

University of Newcastle postdoctoral fellowships

Due date for these postdocs is 20 July, with one possibly going to religion, given our (Newcastle University’s) status as a leading religion research centre in Australia.

Projects in the area of religion and radicalism, Marxism and religion would be welcome, since that is one of our research strengths
