Kasai Masai

Dear Forest Roots Folk

Summer is nearly here or so we thought a couple of weeks ago! Thought it was too good to last. Anyway, we welcome back Kasai Masai (see who are sure to bring some sunshine into our lives.

They are a band of truly wonderful musicians once again bringing their unique African sounds to Forest Roots. As usual we will have surprise guests and local singers as well as The Flats Family Band and, after forsaking us as he had a gig, Nick Pickett will be back too.

This will be the last night before the summer as otherwise we would be competing with a much bigger event. Not allowed to say the word due to copyright issues but you know what I mean.

So that’s Kasai Masai at Forest Roots on Friday 29th June, at The Lord Rookwood, 314 Cann Hall Road, Forest Gate, London, E11 3NW.
Starts 8.30

Stay forever young
Jenny and Caroline
